Director, Clinical Pharmacy
Acacia is a graduate of the University of Delaware, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and she later earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University in 2006. She completed a one year pharmacy practice residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. After her residency, Acacia worked for several years as a hospital clinical pharmacist, practicing in infectious disease, critical care, transplant and oncology.
Acacia joined Premier in 2012 and is responsible for providing industry leading clinical support services to our patients and clients. She has directed the development of various clinical pathways and specialty related disease management programs that improve patient’s clinical outcomes and reduce healthcare related costs. She additionally oversees the clinical oversight committee.
Acacia is also a Board-certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP), and credentialed as an HIV pharmacist (AAHIVP) from the American Academy of HIV Medicine. She is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP), as well as the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA).
